Five Colombian soldiers killed in clash with leftist rebels

Colombia's military says five soldiers have been killed in the country's northeast in combat with leftist rebels.

The local commander, Gen. Paulino Coronado, says the five were killed Friday in a rural area of Tibu, a hotly contested coca-growing region near the Venezuelan border.
