NSW: Two seriously injured in eight-vehicle crash
An eight-vehicle accident in south-eastern New South Wales has left two people withserious injuries.
An ambulance spokesman says six cars and two trucks were involved in the accident,which happened just before 3pm (AEST) on the Hume Highway near Coolac.
A man and a woman were trapped in the wreckage, with one suffering serious head andchest injuries and the other major spinal injuries.
A third person has suffered minor injuries.
The spokesman says the two with serious injuries will probably be flown by helicopterto Canberra Hospital while the third is likely to be taken to Gundagai Hospital.
